Kim Curtis, Board Member

Kim Curtis, Ph.D. moved to Flagstaff in 2008 and brings with her a vast experience in sustainable grassroots organizing. Kim taught in the Masters in Sustainable Communities and other programs at NAU until very recently, and continues her involvement with engaged learning and grassroots community organizing. Kim is a political theorist by training. Her scholarly work includes articles on democracy, sustainability and education, feminist theory, and the impact of border militarization and immigrant criminalization on civic life in the Arizona agricultural borderlands.
